Mackay Sunrise Rotary Club is situated in Mackay Central Queensland (Just South of the beautiful Whitsunday Islands)
A very vibrant growing region of Australia, where Coal, Sugar and Tourism are the regions major industries.

We have 24 members and meet every Friday at 6.45 am to 8 am  for breakfast, at the beautiful Ocean International Hotel in Bridge Road, Mackay.

The Twenty four members consist of 16 male and 8 female members. The age of our members ranges from 35 to 64. 

It's an ideal club for busy people that want to get involved with Rotary and don't have time to attend lunch or evening meetings.

Our biggest fundraiser is the annual Mayors Charity Ball run in May of every year. It's raised over $125,000 since it was first run just 5 years ago.

We belong to Rotary District 9570 which consists of 47 clubs and 1160 members, covering an area of 1 million square kilometres in Central Queensland.

Other clubs that belong to our Group include Rotary Clubs of Mackay, Port of Mackay, Mackay West, Mirani, Walkerston, Sarina, Moranbah and Mackay North.

To the North of us is Rotary District 9550 and the local breakfast club there is Townsville Sunrise Rotary a great place to do a make up!
