Update on Membership Feb 1st 2009

Well folks we started the year with 23 members.  

We've recruited at this stage  Charles Ogilvie, Teresa Abela, Terry Gadenne and Alan Zamparutti. Unfortunately we lost Janita Blinco, Jim Simpson, John Schluter, and Donna Beckett, making a grand total of 23. So we're back to square one.

Update on Membership June 15th 2009

Our ranks have increased by another. Gabe Giannangelo introduced John Clinton to the club.
That brings the years net increase to 1 or 24 members from 23.

Molly - Our Immunity Dolly


Mackay Sunrise Rotary Molly the Immunity Dolly

Meet Molly she is the Dolly at the Sunrise Club who bestows great wealth on the person who owns her.

We call her our Immunity Dolly. 

Well, actually Molly doesn't bestow any wealth as such,  rather she allows  the club member who owns her, to keep their wealth away from the ever vigilant and somewhat demanding Sergeant Russell Jordan.

You only get to keep Molly when you introduce a new member to the club, but Molly is  very independent, and will leave you anytime another club member introduces a new member.

Why is Molly female? No reason - as a mixed club of course we don't discriminate in any way between the sexes. Yes male members are treated as equal to women members most of the time.

She is female because this was the only Doll we could find at the time, but beware, we could change her looks and sexuality at any time.

Yes as you can see, she is a little wobbly on her feet, but that just adds to her charm.

Right now  Molly The Immunity Dolly is in the hands of our Membership Director Leon Cuzzilla.

UPDATE 14th Nov 2008: Sad News Molly now rests in the safe and caring hands of club Member Russell Jordan, after it fleetingly spent a few seconds in John Schluters grasp.
